What we do

Support for CDCs
Cleveland’s neighborhoods are served by independent nonprofits called community development corporations (CDCs). We empower them through grantmaking, professional development, and shared initiatives.

Neighborhood marketing
Every part of our city deserves more love. Love Cleveland Neighborhoods, our marketing campaign, invites Northeast Ohioans to explore, celebrate, and invest the city.

Real estate development
Main streets and homes need ongoing care to flourish. New Village, our real estate arm, enables new housing and commercial properties city-wide.

Lending
Block-by-block, our investments stabilize and revitalize. Village Capital, our lending arm, provides financing and small business coaching that create wealth for Clevelanders.

In-house expertise
Our team is full of industry leaders. We respond to a wide range of needs with deep skillsets: small business support, housing investments, Lead Safe remediation, and more.

Advocacy
In our policy and advocacy work for Cleveland’s community development ecosystem, we bring together decision-makers from across Ohio and the nation to create solutions.
