Central to Cleveland Neighborhood Progress’ strategic plan is our CDC Advancement and Resilience Initiative to support and evaluate Community Development Corporations (CDCs) annually across multiple categories of work, including fiscal management and oversight.
We are seeking a third-party consultant to review financial documents submitted by CDCs as part of their application to our grant system. This review will be used by the selection committee to evaluate each organization’s financial health and inform allocations of funds. In addition to this financial review, this consultant will need to interview CDC staff, including, but not limited to, the Executive Director, Board Chair and/or Treasurer, and accounting staff, to develop a comprehensive assessment of the organization’s financial health.
