Cleveland Neighborhood Progress is pleased to announce that Kandis Williams has joined our organization as the Vice President of Economic Opportunity. Kandis started on July 1st and has already begun taking on various tasks within the EO portfolio, which includes financial counseling, education, workforce development and neighborhood leadership training.
This is Kandis’ second position within our company. Previously, she served as Senior Vice President for Village Capital Corporation, the lending subsidiary of Neighborhood Progress. In between, Kandis was with Citizen’s Bank as its Vice President of Community Lending.
Cleveland Neighborhood Progress is a community development intermediary that leads the revitalization of Cleveland’s neighborhoods. It impacts the community by providing financial support, training and capacity building efforts to community development corporations (CDCs), supports and performs placemaking activities to improve residential, commercial and greenspace properties, and delivers economic opportunity programming to ensure city residents can thrive where they live.
We are pleased to welcome Kandis back to the organization.
