We are pleased to announce that we are requesting proposals for projects and/or programs that promote climate-related resilience. All City of Cleveland neighborhoods are eligible – with a special focus on projects and/or programs in the Central/Kinsman, Detroit Shoreway, Glenville, and Slavic Village neighborhoods. The Deadline for the first round of the proposals is July 8th, 2016 by 5:00pm Eastern.

With both rounds of funding, we hope to fund projects will address environmental change in one of these three areas:
1. Reduce energy use and/or increase the generation of renewable energy sources
2. Help Clevelanders prepare for the impacts of climate change in their neighborhood
3. Strengthen social connections among individuals and networks
We look forward to receiving your creative and innovative proposals for the first round of funding. All proposals submitted after Friday, July 8th, 2016 by 5:00pm Eastern will be reviewed for the second round of funding with the deadline of Friday, October 7th, 2016 by 5:00pm Eastern.
