About: The Cope of Poverty Experience (COPE) gives participants a chance to see for themselves the difficulties that low-income Americans face daily. This experiential training and awareness tool helps participants role play the life of a low-income person in our community. The training lasts approximately two hours, more information on the training and registration link is coming soon. We are also recruiting 20 volunteers to play “community resources” or agencies, businesses, and institutions that touch the lives of low-income individuals. If you’d like to volunteer day-of and help support the simulation, please contact Nina Holzer at nholzer@clevelandnp.org.
