On August 27th, Cleveland Neighborhood Progress and CHN Housing Partners hosted a joint ribbon-cutting and ground-breaking ceremony at Britt Oval, a public amenity located on the Saint Luke’s Campus. The community celebration was held to commemorate Neighborhood Progress’ completion of Britt Oval’s renovation (centered on the new KeyBank Events Stage); CHN’s commencement of construction on 27 new units of LIHTC housing; and KeyBank’s Comprehensive Community Development Program in Buckeye and Glenville, which is orchestrated by Neighborhood Progress and administered by Burten Bell Carr Development and Famicos Foundation. President & CEO Joel Ratner of Neighborhood Progress and Executive Director Kevin Nowak of CHN offered remarks alongside a panel of philanthropists and community representatives that included KeyBank’s Head of Corporate Responsibility & Community Relations Don Graves, Ohio State Senator Sandra Williams, Cleveland City Councilman Blaine Griffin, and Ohio Housing Finance Agency Director of Legislative Affairs Guy Ford. Nearly 100 attendees participated in the celebration.
